Terms of Service
Last updated: May 29, 2026
The deal
Autogram is a tool that helps you operate Instagram content pipelines. By using it, you agree to these terms. We're a small operation; these terms are written in plain language but they're still binding.
Eligibility
You can use Autogram if:
- You're at least 18 years old (Meta requires this for Graph API).
- You own or have explicit authorization to publish to the Instagram accounts you connect.
- You're not on a sanctions list and don't intend to use this for illegal content.
What you can use Autogram for
Publishing content you own, or have rights to, to Instagram accounts you control. Specifically:
- News briefings, editorial commentary, and curated content from public sources.
- AI-generated images that don't violate copyright (don't ask for "Mickey Mouse holding the Wall Street Journal").
- Any post type Instagram itself allows.
What you can NOT use Autogram for
- Misrepresenting yourself as a person or organization you're not.
- Posting content that violates Meta's Community Standards.
- Spam, harassment, fake news, deepfakes intended to deceive.
- Posting copyrighted content (text, images, video) without rights.
- Trying to game Instagram's algorithm via inauthentic engagement.
- Anything illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
If we suspect any of the above, we may suspend your account immediately. Repeated violations result in permanent removal and disclosure to Meta if their policies are violated.
Your account
You're responsible for your account credentials and any activity that happens under your sign-in. Notify us at hello@tryautogram.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
Costs and providers
Autogram routes through third-party AI providers (Anthropic, fal.ai, etc.) which charge per usage. The costs you see in the admin "Usage" dashboard are estimates; the providers' billing is authoritative. You're responsible for paying the providers directly (we don't resell or mark up).
Autogram itself may eventually charge a subscription. Pricing changes will be announced in advance with a chance to cancel.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee it. We're hosted on Railway, Neon, Upstash, and Cloudflare — when any of them have an incident, we do too. No SLA during the beta period.
Content ownership
You own everything you publish through Autogram. We don't claim rights to your content, your topic, your voice, your published posts, or your account.
AI output disclaimer
Autogram uses large language models and image generation. AI output can be wrong, biased, or weird. You are the final reviewer; we won't publish anything without your explicit approval click. Review what you approve.
Termination
You can stop using Autogram at any time by clearing your data and disconnecting credentials. We can terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we decide to shut down the product. If we shut down, we'll give 30 days' notice and provide a data export.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Autogram is provided "as is" without warranty. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. If you get banned from Instagram, that's between you and Meta — but we'll help you understand what triggered it if we can.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email to your registered address. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
