Data Deletion
How to delete your data from Autogram.
What we store about you
If you signed in to Autogram, we keep your User row (email, name, optional password hash) and any per-account credentials you connected (Instagram access token, image-provider API keys — all encrypted). We also keep your ingested articles, generated drafts, and publish logs.
Self-service: disconnect Instagram
To stop Autogram from accessing your Instagram account immediately, without deleting anything else:
- Sign in to your Accounts page.
- Expand the account → Instagram connection section.
- Clear the IG Business Account ID and access token fields → Save.
We immediately stop using the credentials. To be sure, also revoke our app on Meta's side at facebook.com/settings (Business Integrations).
Full account deletion request
To delete everything we store about you — User row, all account configurations, all encrypted credentials, all ingested articles, all generated drafts and posts, all publish logs — email hello@tryautogram.app from the email address tied to your account, with the subject line "Data deletion request".
We will:
- Confirm receipt within 48 hours.
- Verify the request is from the account email.
- Permanently delete your data within 30 days.
- Send confirmation when complete.
Instagram-specific data
We do not store Instagram media (photos/videos) on our servers. Generated images are hosted on the image-provider's CDN (fal.ai) or, if configured, your own blob storage. Publishing happens through Meta's Graph API; once a post is live on Instagram, it lives on Meta's infrastructure and can only be deleted from Instagram itself.
